Those of you who follow me on instagram, facebook and twitter might have already seen some of these. If not follow me on instagram, facebook and twitter or you'll miss out! ;-) These are pictures I shot of the great super bloom happening now all over Southern California. Specifically in Antelope Valley at the poppy reserve. What a day of hiking, amazing fields of flowers and color! If you can make it, get out there!
Get Out
The Pacific Northwest inspires so many people to get out and adventure. These are images from a shoot I did for The North Face combined with surreal California and Oregon Landscapes.
Wandering.
I shoot a lot of fashion and lifestyle however lately I've been shooting a ton of travel. Which is awesome because I love to wander and I'm always up for an adventure (especially anywhere I can smell the ocean.) Now my whole portfolio is out on my website. See where I've been, what I've eaten and who I've met and let me know what you think. Thanks!! www.jamesbueti.com/travel
Exit Glacier
Glaciers are dirty! 23,000 years of grinding rocks to flour will do that. These shots are of Exit Glacier in Alaska part of the Kenai Fjords National Park. It's amazing to see rocks emerging from the ice that are thousands of years old. Go to this place before it's gone. Sadly the glaciers are receding at an alarming rate.
Snowed out
Poor visibility, heavy snow, freezing temps and closed roads apparently won't stop me from getting to Crater Lake. I packed my camera, put on some snowshoes and hiked to the top where the clouds broke just enough for me to see some of the features of this beautiful spot. The top image is a panoramic where it's snowing on the left and almost sunny on the right.
Arenal, Costa Rica
Costa Rica is one of my favorite places on the planet. You can hike near a volcano in lush cloud forests, dip a toe in hot springs, zip line the tree tops with monkeys, scuba dive or just lay on the pristine beaches of Manuel Antonio. It's beautiful here and that's just the west coast.
The Desert
What do you do with down time in Phoenix? You hike some of the many trails that seem to go from urban to wilderness almost immediately.
